This is Samaneh. I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity in 2017 to create the Women in IT (kvinnor.it) community which has grown beyond my imagination. It has always been my highest intention to collaborate with companies that raise the bar in many areas, and organize events that are worth your time.
In parallel to my full-time job in the IT industry, I managed all the required activities for this community during my spare time and took care of the costs to keep this community running. Of course, I am thankful to all the companies that opened their office to us and hosted these events.
I get inspired each time we meet, and keep thinking about more ideas for this community. I feel that finally the right time has arrived. I have been working on multiple exciting projects. You might have noticed that I finally created a website for kvinnor.it. It took me (the backend engineer) six years to create a website with the help of WordPress. No, really, jokes aside, I intentionally only focused on using Meetup until now. It was important for me to achieve a goal with limited resources.
I also recently created a page for this community in LinkedIn. Follow Women in IT (kvinnor.it) page if you haven’t already.
Now, let me introduce you to WomenLogs where I will share news related to this community. I always respect your time and don’t intend to spam you.
